What if life’s hardest lessons are also its greatest gifts?
In The Equilibrist trilogy, Erasmus Cromwell-Smith-a reflective professor and poet-discovers that happiness, resilience, and genius lie within each of us, waiting to be released by love, humility, and courage. Through elegant free-verse poems, fables, and a sweeping personal narrative, Erasmus and Victoria’s decades-long story unfolds: a youthful romance, a heartbreaking separation, and a triumphant reunion that leads them through unspeakable loss toward renewed hope.
From early revelations of “The Happiness Formula” to the ultimate embrace of “Life’s Endless Virtuous Circles,” The Equilibrist weaves philosophy, self-discovery, and spiritual wonder into a warm, resonant tapestry. Brimming with inspiration, it reminds us that each ending births a new beginning-and that true Joy is found in devoting our minds and hearts to life’s most luminous possibilities.
